It’s 10:59 p.m. and I’ve sat through the Tuesday premiere of “Momma’s Boys” on NBC. This was executive produced by “American Idol’s” own Ryan Seacrest, whose mother should be ashamed.
Ostensibly it’s a new dating show about three “possessive yet loving mothers” who help their sons choose the perfect woman from a pool of 32 single women of all different backgrounds and colors.
(Not so much shapes, though. That would be bad for ratings, right?)
But really it’s not about finding love. You can tell by the fact that the three boys were all but invisible. The show began with extended teasers for a season I’m planning to ignore, and ended with a vicious fight between mom Khalood Bojanowski, who was born in Basra, Iraq, and Vita Alexander, an ICU nurse in the military who defends the Iraqi people.
They fought over the list of no-nos Khalood – known as Mrs.
