Son of Jaime Camil and Cecilia Saldaña, a Mexican businessman and a Brazilian painter, Jaime faced the divorce of his parents, very young, at the age of 5, an event that would mark him forever. At age 12 he moved in with his father and his new wife.

Although he studied administration at the Anáhuac University and worked for one of his father’s companies, Jaime Camil Garza, the show was what really caught his attention.

Despite his father’s displeasure, Jaime sought to enter the medium, where he began doing radio, in 1993, at the Radioactive 98.5 station.
